When Life Gives You Lemons, Tell Life to F*cK Off

 I think, I’m way over my head. This semester, I signed up for a full course load and it feels like quicksand. I had a feeling it was going to be a bad idea, and yet, here I am looking at my timetable in misery. Repeatedly, I find myself asking “WHAT HAVE YOU DONE, MIKHAELA??? ARE YOU INSANE???”. I’m so overwhelmed right now. It feels like drowning from the inside. I know I lack proper time management skills and constantly succumbing to lazy moments infront of the television, searching for something to take my mind of this unwanted feeling of drowning from the inside.

I hate having to work part-time.

Movie Review: Watchmen

I finally got to watch Watchmen last night after such a long time. I know, I’m so two-thousand-late. But I’ve been a fan of streaming movies online lately. Watch-movies-links.net and Tv-links.cc are two of my favourite links. I practically live in their dominion. When your a university student drowning in a sea of debt, having the liberty to watch movies online is a blessing.

Anyway, as I was saying, I found Watchmen to be really good. In fact, I can’t wait to read the novel. I would do it soon but I’m taking three English courses and two Political Science courses this sem.’Tis going to be a very brutal four months. I just saw two of my course syllabus today and boy, I wanted to cry.

It’s been ages since I’ve updated this blog. Holy Cr*p! For a moment there, I didn’t realize it’s actually August already. This summer is the worst out of the seven years that I have been living here in Toronto. Everyday, I find myself waking up and hoping to find a nice sunny weather outside my window. Im 80% disappointed most of the time. It’s always cloudy and rainy, and whenever I speak to people about it, we all have the same kind of complains… August is already moving to its second week and yet, we all feel like we haven’t really accomplished anything.

I found myself in a state of boredom today since my shift at work got cancelled for the third time this week. So, in the middle of it all, I got an urge to watch a movie. However, all I had in my downloaded folder was the movie, Unborn. The scaredy-cat that I am just refuse to watch it after hearing how one of my closest girlfriend had to sleep with the light on for two weeks straight. I don’t even know why I downloaded that thing in the first place, I guess I blame it all on curiosity. Teehee.

So anywho, I decided to justwatch a movie through online streaming. There were a bunch of movies there that I’ve been meaning to watch, however, “Young Victoria” caught my attention. The story is basically about the rise of Queen Victoria (more…)

Yesterday, today and tomorrow are days of mourning for the world. Michael Jackson, the world-reknown King of Pop, died yesterday at approximately 2:26 pm in the UCLA Medical Centre due to Cardiac Arrest. According to the Jackson’s lawyer, “for the last many months, and almost more than a year, this family has been talking about the use of medications by Michael and warning he was going to wake up dead…” (more…)
